Listen!

Listen to the early morning birds sing,

Yes. They are the true signs of spring!

Await and hear the rooster’s crow,

Dawn is breaking; surely he will know.

Listen to the rain sputter against the window seal,

The rain’s causing growth to do its deal,

Listen to the harmony and heartbeat of the earth,

That warmth is settling upon your sacred hearth.
