osgoodmichelle:

I loved Broken Records by @lilahsuzanne.  I started reading it while waiting for my partner to join me for dinner, and by the time she arrived I was ready to tell her that she could come back in a couple hours when I was done!  (I didn’t, though, and we wound up having a lovely dinner–but I couldn’t wait to get back to this book.)

Lives in the spotlight are always fascinating for those of us on the outside, and Nico and Grady’s were no exception.  Though not technically in the spotlight at the beginning of the book, Nico is close enough on the sidelines that he’s brushed by it.  Grady, on the other hand, is a fully-fledged star, and it was fun to watch their two lives intersect.  As someone who’s a fan of the TV show Nashville, I loved that Lilah Suzanne didn’t keep the pair in LA, but let Nico and us readers make the trek out to Tennessee.

The scenes between Nico and Grady in Grady’s home were as soft and intimate as I’d hoped, and were by far my favourite of the book.  I loved being able to see these two men interact on their own, and their sexual chemistry was lip-bitingly delectable.  I’m so glad that this is just the first book in a series, because I can’t wait to read more!

Also I 100% have a crush on Gwen, Nico’s business partner, and I am really excited that she’ll be a big part of the sequel ;)

Thank you so much!!!! I’m so happy you enjoyed it

(I have a crush on Gwen, too. Is that weird? That’s probably weird…)
