Miracles & Moments of Grace: Inspiring Stories from Moms (Nonfiction)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:34PM
Description: In this book, meet dozens of inspiring women who have taken on the toughest, yet most rewarding, role of their lives. From the hilarious to the heartbreaking, these stories reveal the depth of a mother's love and her delight at wearing the title of "Mom." These stories reveal that God clearly speaks to mothers, no matter where they are. One woman awakens in the middle of the night, burdened to pray for her son. Another hears a voice telling her to go to her daughter, despite the miles between them. One mother tells a lyrical bedtime tale of her daughter's adoption. Another shares a stark story of taking in a runaway Amish boy. God's voice in a mother's heart can change lives.

Their experiences speak of everything from the rescue of terrified victims in the 9/11 terrorist attacks to the heart-stopping birth of a bloodless baby boy; from a delicate procedure performed in a darkened Haitian pavilion to a terrible secret that tortures a man in his final days.
