I'm a 23-year-old author, blogger, freelance writer/editor, and Creative & Professional Writing graduate, currently living in my hometown of Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Aside from writing, I'm most passionate about books and music. My other interests include photography, theatre, film & TV, travel, and animal welfare. I'm a firm believer in love, Harry Potter, vanilla lattes, and the Oxford comma.

AFTER US is my first published work, and is available on Amazon Kindle now.

“There is no friend as loyal as a book.”
Ernest Hemingway

J.K. Rowling
“Mr. Moony presents his compliments to Professor Snape, and begs him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other people's business.
Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git.
Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor.
Mr. Wormtail bids Professor Snape good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Rachel Caine
“He hung up on her. She'd just been hung up on by a disembodied brain in a jar. Fantastic.”
Rachel Caine, Bite Club

Janice Lane Palko
“Anne tried to bite her tongue, but she was finding her mouth bloody too often.”
Janice Lane Palko, St. Anne's Day

Virginia Woolf
“Books, she thought, grew of themselves. She never had time to read them. Alas! even the books that had been given her, and inscribed by the hand of the poet himself: 'For her whose wishes must be obeyed' ... 'The happier Helen of our day' ... disgraceful to say, she had never read them.”
Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse
