[image error]Red is an incredible collection of essays written by teen girls. This weekend I went to Skylight Books in LA (one of my new favorite spots) for a reading featuring two of the Red authors.

Jordyn Turney read her essay, “Mascara Wands are Instruments of War,” a piece that bravely explores her relationship with her mother and how their different perspectives on beauty and style are often a source of conflict.
