Eruch Adams was born in New Mexico to parents who owned a trading post. Native American culture seeped into his world despite the fact that his family proceeded to move around the country no less than 17 times before he reached adulthood. In that time, there were travels to Europe and India, at the expense of school, grades, or any sense of belonging. It was after one such exotic voyage that Eruch was asked to write a story for his high school newspaper about his recent trip to India, which ended up being a two-part epic that launched him into the world of writing with a casual fury. A glib concern. A totalitarian ease, that had nothing to do with his command of English grammar (he’d missed several key weeks of that.)

Getting out to a coffee shop provides the adequate white noise and lack of laundry to focus on some writing work.
Otherwise, changing modes of writing (from editing to actual writing new material on a different chapter or story).
Long hot showers, walks, or being forced to watch really boring performances (where it would be unseemly to get up and leave) are all great stimulants for writing.(less)
