A Seattle native, Ajax Bell writes queer fiction, including the Queen City Boys books, an interrelated series of standalone stories. Spanning four decades in Seattle, Queen City Boys tells the explicit adventures of an eclectic group of gay friends as they find their way through the ends and beginnings of their most important relationships.

According to Ajax the best thing in life is a perfect Pacific Northwest spring day spent on a sunny bench with a good book. Thank you, I'm glad you loved it! Yes, there will be sequel, though perhaps not what anyone is expecting. Right now I've got six books and a collection of short stories outlined. Many of Steven's friends you met in TCM will get their own story. Some will be back stories in the early 1980s, some will be future stories about what happens in the later 1990s and 2000s. There will be another John/Steven story as well, although not until we've heard from a few of their friends. Second book will be out (hopefully) in autumn 2015 and the third in early 2016.(less)

This is an incomplete list of research materials I read trying to understand enough of the Japanese-American experience to be able to believably write a 30-something, queer, yonsei man in the 1990s. I’ve

I love this author's Accidental Heretics series, and Chretien is by far my fave character in that series and here he finally gets to be the main character instead of just the brother!

This book is an interesting mix. A mystery of sorts for sure, but a
