Jaye Tomas has "scribbled" all her life but found her audience growing hugely after she created her Chimera Poetry blog.
Her first Book, 'Nocturnes', was very well received and 'Carnevale' was released with very flattering feedback! Her latest book 'What Lies Beneath' was just published in May 2016.
Jaye loves all things bookish and has a minor obsession with hedgehogs.
Originally from Chicago, she is currently residing in the UK but has begun to cast her eyes in other directions.
"The beauty of the story, she says, is in the journey, not the arrival."

This is the end…beautiful friend.”

The thief ran until he thought his heart would burst
the path undulating and
folding
in front of him. Several times he thought he couldn’t make it,
too far,
too bewildered,
too confused about which way to go,
and he slowed,
but the air was alive with sound and something,
or someone,
kept him moving in what he hoped was the right direction.
