Sometimes, the ideas and words just start flowing, regardless of how relevant the concept is. After that, I realize that I need to get back on my stories and start writing on those.(less)

The internet is great, but it's just so overwhelmed with trolls, forums, and pointless interaction. A lot of it is great, but most of it is just people tweeting what they ate.

I like writing because it allows me to explore a part of my subconscious that express my creativity in a format that pleases others. Instead of just a simple blog post, I want others to explore my creative mind as I do - be part of the story and enjoy it.

Professionally, I'm a web developer, and when I get going on a piece of code that needs to be written, I almost get a "high" when focusing and "entering the zone" (other fellow writers know what I mean). When I get writing on a story idea, I "enter the zone" as well, and it's really enjoyable to see the story play out in my mind and write down what happens - it's almost as if the story writes itself! The feeling when a segment/scene/chapter is done is really gratifying, especially when it was written "in the zone".(less)

Nano 2017 Update

Word Count 2017My official word count for 2017:

Nano-what now?

For anyone that doesn't know, NaNoWriMo stands for "National Novel Writing Month". AKA: Write 50,000 words in November. If you write that amount, you can win some c Read more of this blog post »
