For many years Nik had been involved in law and business in few Eastern European countries, on weekends returning to Israel.
Witnessing the meteoric rise of a small number of individuals from modest citizens to mighty billionaires, Nik felt compelled to expose to the world the unique phenomenon taking place in this less familiar part of the globe. The 1-st book - Rise of an Oligarch is more historical fiction, encompassing the period preceding the Big Bang of the USSR and its aftermath, than other genres. The 2-nd - Mortal Showdown develops against the backdrop of events surrounding the ousting of the former president of Ukraine in 2014, however it's more of an action thriller. And finally the 3-d - Be First or Be Dead is purely fictional and doesn't rest on specific historical events, while dealing with global conspiracy, big biz, high finance and low morals. (less)

Lev Lewis Hi Nick,

You invited me to join 'Wealth, Writing, Worlds'. I don't think that's really for me (as yet). I am an independent author, but my book is nothing to do with business; it's a PI crime book. Being new to Goodreads, I want to start off by joining some crime fiction groups. I notice you are a member of quite a few of these, so maybe I'll join you in one (or more).

Happy writing and reading,

Lev
