The award-winning YA romance author of THE ZONE series and the SECOND CHANCES series, Patricia B. Tighe lives in West Texas with her husband and dogs. She’s a sucker for romance and loves to put her characters in sticky situations to see what happens. When she’s not writing, she eats way too much pizza, drinks way too much coffee, and watches way too much NFL football.

If the next book on my list is a fantasy, but I'm in the mood for a historical mystery, then the mystery wins.

All that said, I do have a few books that I intend to read this summer. In no particular order:

Siege and Storm, and Ruin and Rising--Books 2 & 3 in Leigh Bardugo's Grisha series. I've already read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, and I want to be caught up completely in the Grishaverse.

Duels and Deception by Cindy Anstey. I read and enjoyed the first book, Love, Lies, and Spies, and am looking forward to another fun trip back to Regency England for a young adult romance.

And finally, Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han. Can't wait to read the last book in this sweet YA romance series!(less)

They are both flawed and grow so much through the course of the story. No insta-love here! Still, I love envisioning their future as Lizzy teaches Darcy how to laugh more. Sigh.(less)

A Simple Lesson

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well.I took a social media break in March and April, and learned a few things while I was gone. The most important was that the Moon won't collide with the Earth if I don't post daily on social media. That may sound silly, but it's basically true.Writers are told that we have to post frequently to keep up our visibility and maintain book sales. Trying to make tha Read more of this blog post »
