My goal is to give you stories to transport you to another time, another place, where you can enjoy adventure and romance, thrill to trials and challenges, uncover secrets and solve mysteries, and delight in a happy ending.

I’ve been telling stories all my life: making up serial tales to amuse my friends and children, imagining sequels to books that have moved me and left me wanting more, occasionally submitting short stories to magazines and the radio, starting more than a dozen novels set in different times and places.

I have devoted most of the last forty years to a career in commercial writing and raising a large family (most recently as grandmother-in-residence while a daughter was out of action for three years). Me and my own personal r

Hi Roxane

Look for Candle's Christmas Chair by Jude Knight on any of the retailers you patronise, and there'll be a place to post a review.

Here on Goodreads, you can write a review when you rate the book. As soon as you mark the number of stars you want, Goodreads will pop up the question 'Thanks for rating. Write a review?' If you click on that, you'll go straight into a review box.

If you want to write a review for a book you've already rated, set the Read this book status back to Want to read, and then redo the rating. It'll offer you the same question. Good luck. I look forward to seeing your review.(less)

Action off the Cape of Good Hope by Samuel Scott

The English twice took over the Cape Colony at the southern end of Africa, first in the late 18th Century and then in the early 19th when they came to stay. Both times, it was part of the war with the French. Both times, the intent was to secure an important refueling spot on the sea route to India, and to secure the route against enemy shipping.

Another splendid story by Dunn

Loved the hero and the heroine. Dunn’s attention other minor character’s drawn with a few carefully chosen words, doesn’t fail her. Melodramatic plot that begins.with a kidnapping. I do love a nice melodrama.

David Sorry for not responding. Last few months have been manic. Having my 1st Pale Battalions - The Dark Land novel published at the first attempt has been quite surreal, but I'm beginning to enjoy it. Now at 'the find reviewers stage'. Still enjoying reading, and looking forward to sharing thoughts on novels.
Regards
David

Hi Steelwhisper. I won't read what I'm not interested in, and I won't take offence. But thanks for the warning.

Steelwhisper Thanks for the friending! I need to warn you though, unless you already saw this, that I read and write hardcore erotica, BDSM, LGBT and dark erotica. I also am writing historical fiction and romance, but this is the pen name with which I discuss a lot of such themes.

So, I hope my feed and reviews won't be offensive to you. But I'm interested in a very broad spectrum of books and topics, so if that isn't the case I will look forward to exchanging reading/writing experiences with you!
