Karlie Lucas is a dreamer, reader, and helpless romantic with a soft spot for female lead characters.

The third of eight children, Karlie often felt "lost" in the mix and promised herself that things would not stay that way, for herself or her characters.

"Each of my characters tend to 'feel lost' in one way or another. The real struggle, for them, is overcoming that and realizing they are of worth. I write to give everyone the opportunity to remember that."

With a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, and a few memberships in various writing societies, Karlie is making her mark in literature.

If you haven't checked out her books, I strongly suggest you do so.

But if none of my characters are talking to me, at all, I'll just read something from a favorite author, watch something like a movie or tv show, or just play facebook games. If that doesn't work, another project is always on the horizon.(less)

A big thank you to all!

Hey everyone!

This last weekend at the Frisco Book Fest was absolutely awesome! I saw some people who I've met before, including one little fan who just had to have book three in the Tarragon Trilogy! Your excitement made me so happy! And I loved meeting all the new faces as well. I hope you'll like the books you took away with you. I know the room was small, and the lighting not so great, but I... Read more of this blog post »
