M.J. Carlson is an American science fiction author. Two of his short stories, A Simple Breach Of Etiquette and Paradox Effect received honorable mentions in the Writers of the Future contest in the 2012 and 2013, respectively. One of his early novels, The Alien Who Fell and a short story, Wish Upon a Falling Star were finalists in the 2010 Florida Writers Association Royal Palm Literary Award competition. CHANGED, his futuristic, suspense novel is currently available and his next book, NATURAL SELECTION, is scheduled for release in 2015. While I usually don't care much for stories written in a "memoir style," this is an exception. The style fits the premise perfectly, and the voice reinforces the style. Interesting characters interacting in an interesting plot. A must-read.
