I've read the book multiple times since the movie and that world still captivates me. So take me to Jurassic Park and give me a Jeep to roam the island with. I would stay clear of the Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor pens, but I'd venture into the T-Rex pen and the rest. My camera will be on hand to take as many pictures as possible.(less)

ah, nuts

The other day, I was laying on the couch while playing a game on my phone. Milo had gotten up on the back of the couch and was walking around up there. I paid him no attention since he does this all the time. And then it happened. Something caught his attention, he jumped, and two nuts were crushed.

I was not happy. Zailey was excited by the commotion and came over to console me by licking my arm. Read more of this blog post »

Lacking in so many ways

What did I enjoy? There were some good moments. If this were a series of short stories, each with good beginnings and clear endings, then this would have been much better. Either that or more depth to the novel.

Interesting, but a long front porch

The best thing about this book is how well researched it was. I could believe the jargon and all the things happening.

The story doesn't start until Jacob jumps on the train. The history of why he jumps on could have

Not cozy, but eh

What I looked:
I really liked the characters. Interesting and some twists to many. I also enjoyed the paranormal aspect of this. It gave it another dimension. This was also thrilling and I enjoyed the plot overall.

Unoriginal and annoying

We live in a world where authors put quotes of praise right before the description of their books. I skip those as they are annoying. I've never seen an author put them throughout the book until now. And as pictures no less!

More of a historical than I expected

I came into this expecting a historical fiction. Instead, it had the feeling of a history thesis. It is interesting, but dry at times. I liked it, but I caution others looking for a crime thriller as this may not w

So much potential

I like to start with the good first in my reviews. Some of these stories had some good plots. I don't expect to love every story in a collection and that is certainly true here. The story with the old man and his books was my favorit
