12.17.144 years ago today, I buried a piece of me. I will never forget that day, that week, those moments, and more importantly I will never forget the last time I seen him alive. His transformation was my transformation. Though, I had, and will continue to have, some dark nights, I can truly say I am happy. I have this unshakeable joy. I found myself. I love myself. I am growing as a woman. I am improving everyday. I am learning so much. I am not the same woman I was yesterday. Everyday I wake up with a smile and gratification in my heart. And for the first time in a long time, I am excited about my future…
