1971 Plymouth Fury I Sleeper
You know we like plainjanes, and they don't get any plainer than this Fury I sedan, which started life as a Sonoma County Sheriff's car. It's on the block at Hemmings with what appears to be the original 400 c.i. engine hiding under that very wide hood. And what better shade for a sleeper than Battleship Grey?

1963 Pontiac Catalina Safari
One of the great years for Pontiacs. AL has posted a bunch more 63's, like this (Canadian) Parisienne in Banff and this Bonneville with a four-speed in Maine. And another in Maine.
See above. Some cars just smile.

GMC 2500 HD Brooklin Boatyard
And if you dove off the BBY float you could swim out to this Luders L-24, a fast racing sloop from 1940s. Yes, that's leopardskin.

1970 Dodge Challenger
That's an eductated guess, not a positive. Henry Behrens caught the car idling along the Maine Turnpike.

MGB-GT
Don Greene Culbertson saw the car in Marfa, Texas. AL caught one in the Netherlands a while back. And this one on Spring Street, Soho.

electrifying the F-150
from CNBC...DETROIT – Ford Motor plans to differentiate its upcoming all-electric F-150 from expected pickups by Tesla and General Motors by building it for heavy-duty hauling and towing rather than recreation.
“While all other electric pickups are competing for lifestyle customers, the all-electric F-150 is designed and engineered for hard working customers that need a truck to do a job,” Kumar Galhotra, president of the Americas and international markets at Ford, said Wednesday during a media briefing.
Galhotra said it was important to Ford to retain the F-150′s reputation as a work truck when it rolls out its electric version in about two years. The F-150 and its larger siblings, collectively known as Ford’s F-Series, have been America’s bestselling pickups for 43 years and the nation’s top-selling vehicle for 38 years.
“We have a very substantial amount of brand equity in the ‘Built Ford Tough’ F-150 both in terms of design language, capability and the name itself,” he said....

le Pontiac Strato Chief, hostie.
Thanks to Aidan O'Neill for the photo. Montreal-Est (probably East on one door, Est on another) is a separate municipality on the Island of Montreal. Not to be confused with the East End, which is part of the city of Montreal. The oil refineries are out there in Montreal-Est. The Canadian Pontiacs of that era were Parisienne, Laurentian, and Strato Chief. They were all Chevrolets under the sheet metal. So not Wide-Tracks, like the US Pontiacs. The wheels and tires look skinny and inboard on the big wide Canadian '59. Somehow my father got ahold of an American car, a 1959 Catalina, which has always been an iconic set of wheels for me. I think we had the only one in Montreal. Here's a '59 Laurentian wagon.

Lamborghini 2R Tractor
There are a lot of upscale farms in our part of Maine these days, selling well-brought-up greens to the carriage trade. Who wouldn't want a Lamborghini tractor? More useful than many Lambos, I reckon. It's on the block at BaT. We caught an--admittedly faster--Lamborghini Gallardo in Paris a while back. And another in Toronto.
