Born in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of an engineer, I grew up traveling across the United States as my father moved from one project to the next before finally ending up in Charlotte, North Carolina. After serving my country in the United States Army, I spent the next few decades pursuing a career in the measurement sciences then decided to try my hand at writing during the economic downturn.

I recently published "Dead Dwight:a dark comedy" under the pseudonym, E.V. Iverson and I'm working on the next romance novel in the "Science of Loving" series.

Why you can’t be a prepper in SoCal

Any hoo, I just read about the Blue Lake Rancheria Tribe’s innovative solution to Pacific Gas & Electric’s preemptive rolling blackouts. Now that we’re in a full blown climate crisis, I think they’re on to something. It’s past time to ask ourselves if private sector mega utilities are up to the job. Is a publicly... "Loved it!!!

I have now read this book 4 times. I just loved the quirkiness of all the characters. The story is awsome. Funny, romantic and suspenseful , what more could you ask for? Hope to read more like it."
The Science of Loving by Candace Vianna
"Ugh

The heroine was just too insecure and whiny for me. It was nerve racking. Her constant need for reassurance. She had absolutely no backbone and she didn’t grow one at all. This books was a painful read. "

"Really liked the story, but Angie’s constant doubts and self esteem issues constantly annoyed me. I understand them, and at the beginning of the book I could easily relate, but I expected some development regarding those issues and no matter what Mat" Read more of this review »

“Who knows what lies in the hearts of men? And more importantly, who cares so long as they open our jars and kill spiders?”
Candace Vianna, The Science of Loving

“Nice try, sweetheart, but there’s no way you’re leaving me alone with a barely aware drunk chick. Who knows what she’ll accused me of later? This time tomorrow, the cops could show up at my door, and before you know it, I’m rocking an orange jumpsuit, singing “Summer Loving” with a guy named Snake.”
Candace Vianna, The Science of Loving

“We worked side by side building our sandwiches. Mine, just a few modest layers of meat and cheese, with a bit of lettuce for some added crunchiness; his, a Dagwood, piled high with turkey, ham, salami, lettuce, tomatoes, two kinds of cheese, and—were those jalapenos—with a teetering slice of bread carefully placed on top—there’s no way that’s going to fit into his mouth—he admired it for a moment then using his giant paw, smashed it into submission.”
