With vibrant prose and a truly wise heart, Ric Stuecker has connected Hero to Elder powerfully, then gone even further to detail the stages of the elder's path. This is wonderful material--gracious, beautiful, and perceptive. I highly recommend it.

Unsatisfying Mystery

Unfortunately, this novel fails as a thriller or as a mystery. Perhaps having a murderer take on 12 murders at Christmas was too much for this author.

Poirot at Christmas

Not very festive. However, Christie works her Belgian detective through a ghastly murder mystery very precisely and stalwartly. Marching through from beginning to end. Relentless and logical.,

In Time For Christmas

If you love A Christmas Carol, reading historical fiction, drinking a warm drink on a cold night, this is a fine, if made up, novel that embraces the Christmas spirit, of Dickens, and of good storytelling. A fine read, indeed.
