Sandra loves to visit places where significant historic events happened. These places and the people who lived through the events often inspire her and spark her imagination. She most often writes inspirational historical romances and especially loves the American Civil War period. In fact, her debut novella, A Stranger On My Land, is set on Lookout Mountain where the Battle Above the Clouds took place. She serves as Assistant Editor for DevoKids.com where she contributes historical articles. She is also an Assistant Editor at the Barn Door Book Loft website.
