Kristin is a native Wisconsinite and a proud alum of the UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts. Her favorite genre to read and write is YA fiction - which is probably a side effect of being a camp counselor. When not in writer mode, Kristin enjoys hiking and cycling with her family and photographing weddings with her husband.

This was riveting. Highly recommended. I believe I finished within a day, I could hardly put it down.

Wild by Cheryl Strayed
“To believe that I didn’t need to reach with my bare hands anymore. To know that seeing the fish beneath the surface of the water was enough. That it was everything. It was my life—like all lives, mysterious and irrevocable and sacred. So very close, so very present, so very belonging to me. How wild it was, to let it be.”
Cheryl Strayed

The Year of Less by Cait Flanders
“But something I had learned time and time again was that every small change you make pays compound interest. It helps you make another change, another mind-set shift, another decision to live a new way.”

I would say this was a solid 3.5 start book. Johnny was a very likable person and I can only begin to imagine the heartbreak his parents went through as he was diagnosed and declined through a serious brain tumor. For me, Johnny's spirit was the high ...more

More of Kristin's books…
“I felt as if I were living just above the surface of my life. It was lonely and utterly exhausting trying to make sure that everything was perfect all the time. No truth left unsaid, no hand or surface unwashed. Whoever said that high school was the best time of our lives definitely did not have OCD.”
Kristin Albright, OC Me

“I saw her everywhere I went and in everything that was beautiful.”
Kristin Albright, OC Me

“Maybe that’s what life is – one giant series of blinks. The problem is, you never know which ones will become your story until after they pass.”
Kristin Albright, More than a Moment

“We are given moments, and we must choose what to do with them. This is your moment.”
Christina L. Farley, Gilded

“When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable.”
Jess C. Scott, The Intern

“I wished for you," he whispered, so quietly that I struggled to hear.
"What did that feel like? I've never made a wish in my life." My voice was as shaky as my words were stupid.
"Everybody wishes for something, Charli."
I put just enough space between us to be able to look at him. "Not me. I've saved them all up. Birthday candles, shooting stars, stray eyelashes...ladybugs. I've saved hem all up. I figure I'm owed hundreds of wishes now.”
GJ Walker-Smith

“going to make the time we have together unforgettable. I'm going to fuse you to me, so that there is no way of knowing where the separation between you and me begins—or even if there is one. I'm going to fill this summer with us, so that when you look back on it, all you remember is me, and when I look back on it, all I remember is you. I'm going to put as much life into now as I can. Like you did for me. Now it's my turn.”
Lindy Zart, Unlit Star

“We always think we have more time and that is the wrong way to think, because time is something we never have enough of.”
Lindy Zart, Unlit Star
