Michael Gunter has been writing since he was old enough to hold a pencil. The earliest thing he can remember writing is a fan-fiction of “Lord of the Rings”. He’s improved since then, having practiced on a steady stream of projects, ranging from historical short stories to science-fiction to high fantasy.

The first story he released was a short story that turned into his 'Hunter' series. Right now, a full-length novel about the character the works. After that, his writing snowballed, with three short stories released so far, and at least four full novels waiting in the wings.

For me, writer's block happens when I temporarily run out of inspiration. That makes me nervous that anything I write in the meantime won't be any good. Fixing it is as easy as MAKING myself write; after the first dozen words, ideas start popping up and writer's block is history. (less)

Being a writer means I can create fantastic worlds and adventures like the ones I love to read. It's a lot like being an explorer back in the Age of Exploration, recording all the amazing things I see, and astounding the people at home with those stories. (less)

I Goofed (or “What Happens When You Don’t Plan Ahead”)

I screwed up. That’s all there is to it.

After getting a job offer (and taking it) on Thursday, I forgot about “Twicebound”. Yes, you heard right. I. Forgot. About. Twicebound. Until rather late on Sunday, by which time it was too late, since I had a bunch of stuff to do. Normally, it wouldn’t be a problem, since my job at the Coffee Shop never entailed a Monday morning shift, so I could just st...

There are many fairy-tale rewrites. Some are good, some aren't. Some are funny, others are tragedies. Some are strictly rewrites, while others delve to far into the 'mushier' side of the romance (for me).

"The Stone Kingdom", however, is a gem. The

“Little One” left me… well, many things, actually. It left me impressed (for several reasons), touched (Litty is such a sweet little kid), and scrambling for a genre to stick it in. And that’s just the beginning.

First off, anyone who’s had siblings
