Ilana is a bookworm and an avid adventurer. She can on occasion be found in her homeland, Western Massachusetts. When she isn't working, or finding inspiration around the world, she is reading and writing as much as she possibly can. The library often catches her carrying stacks of books almost as large as she is. She loves anything fantasy, especially fairy tales and children's books.

More of Ilana's books…
Douglas Adams
“The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.”
Douglas Adams, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

John Green
“Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?' In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.' Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he's done all right for himself.”
John Green

I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control
“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
Marilyn Monroe

Johnny Depp
“If someone were to harm my family or a friend or somebody I love, I would eat them. I might end up in jail for 500 years, but I would eat them.”
Johnny Depp

Bill Watterson
“Reality continues to ruin my life.”
Bill Watterson, The Complete Calvin and Hobbes
