Marysol James was raised in a small town in Canada and is still a small-town girl at heart. She's a cancer survivor, cinnamon bun lover, and hardcore caffeine addict.

Marysol crosses genres in her writing, happily and enthusiastically. To date, she's published 29 steamy, sexy, slinky Contemporary Erotic Romances spread over five different series, including the Amazon and iBooks best selling 'Unseen Enemy', 'Dangerous Curves', and 'Road Devils MC' series. Her books incorporate action and adventure, suspense, military elements, and some surprising plot twists and turns.

Besides her romances, Marysol also writes crisp, clever, Contemporary Literature. It can be dark and provocative at times, and magical realism features heavily in her books. She

Czesz, Duzz! Jak sie masz, kochanie? ;)

I'm not the slightest bit surprised that you found Polish hints in my books (and there are many to find), because until quite recently, I lived in Warsaw, Poland, and my husband is Polish.

As for Jaruzelski: I know well the controversial history of the man most famously associated with that name, but a good friend of mine in Warsaw has the same last name (no relation, though), and I promised her that I'd use it in one of my books for a good character, even just to make it have a more 'positive' association. I know that non-Poles will not know the name, but I'd like to think that they like the police officer who helped Tammy ;)

I go back to Warsaw quite often, so maybe the next time I'm there, we can meet up for a coffee??

Thanks for your question - and enjoy the other Polish 'moments' in my books (especially with Jenny, who is half-Polish!).(less)

Hi Jaden! Thanks for your question.

Indeed, these are issues that interest me very much, and yes, indeed, I'll be exploring more issues in future books. They don't necessarily have to be 'buzz' issues or social problems, though.

For example, in the next book in the Fighting For Love series, called Fighting Back, I'll explore something that many couples have to work through after one person has been hurt or injured.

I won't say too much more, but I have already received a few e-mails from women whose husbands/ boyfriends have returned from the Middle East and who are now working through this as a couple. It's hard, and it requires a strong, trusting relationship to get through it, together.(less)

“I’m not going to hurt you, Naomi. I’m not going to cheat on you, or lie to you, or leave you. I’m not going to look at the dark parts of you and think they’re ugly. I’m not running from you. I’m here, baby. I’m right here, and I’m knocking on the door. Let me in. Let me in.”

“I wish I could be here for you all the time.” He said this quietly; it was a confession, maybe he was even asking for her forgiveness, just a little bit. Her eyes opened again. “But you are. I feel you even when you’re not here.” “You do?” “Mmmm-hmmmm.” She touched his face. “You’re with me all the time. You have no idea what you pull me through, babe, just by existing.”
Marysol James, Enemy Within

“I am the kind of man who demands that you be totally faithful and open and honest.” Aidan kissed her mouth, luxuriating in her soft warmth. “You have to trust me and turn to me for protection and help, no matter what. You’re mine, just mine, and you’ve got to let me make you feel safe. Let me take care of what you need.” His hand moved down the front of her body, between her breasts, over her flat stomach. He lingered just above her sex, gently stroking her lower lips through the t-shirt and her underwear. “And I mean all your needs.”
