I'm not the slightest bit surprised that you found Polish hints in my books (and there are many to find), because until quite recently, I lived in Warsaw, Poland, and my husband is Polish.

As for Jaruzelski: I know well the controversial history of the man most famously associated with that name, but a good friend of mine in Warsaw has the same last name (no relation, though), and I promised her that I'd use it in one of my books for a good character, even just to make it have a more 'positive' association. I know that non-Poles will not know the name, but I'd like to think that they like the police officer who helped Tammy ;)

I go back to Warsaw quite often, so maybe the next time I'm there, we can meet up for a coffee??

Hi Marysol! You seem interested in social issues like violence towards women and children, date rape (drugging), disease and medical insurance (a big thing in the U.S.), and so on. I like that you include these things because they make your books real. Do you plan to write about more such issues in the future?

Indeed, these are issues that interest me very much, and yes, indeed, I'll be exploring more issues in future books. They don't necessarily have to be 'buzz' issues or social problems, though.

For example, in the next book in the Fighting For Love series, called Fighting Back, I'll explore something that many couples have to work through after one person has been hurt or injured.

I won't say too much more, but I have already received a few e-mails from women whose husbands/ boyfriends have returned from the Middle East and who are now working through this as a couple. It's hard, and it requires a strong, trusting relationship to get through it, together.(less)

Marysol James answered Chris's question: I just read the Dangerous Curves series and loved it! I wanted to know if there is an order to your other series that I should read them in? I have already bought the Fighting for Love and Unseen Enemy series. I also bought the first two in the Road Devils MC series. Can't wait to get started!
