Bill Collins is a retired wedding photographer, who served the Indianapolis-Cincinnati-Dayton, Ohio regional wedding markets, with 45-years experience as a wedding photographer.

Bill was born in Connersville, Indiana, where he graduated from CHS in 1963, with almost double the number of credits required to graduate, while managing to skip his Junior year.

He was a top wedding photographer in Connersville for over twenty years. In the 1980s, he moved to Richmond, Indiana, where he owned and operated Bill Collins Photography, at 315 NW L Street, for more than a quarter of a century. More a comment than a question. I enjoyed your previous version but this cover depicts a more serious attitude in your profession. I feel it would inspire more people to pick it off the rack. What prompted you to change?

Bill Collins I decided to rewrite my book, "Tales of a Super Hero Pro Wedding Photographer" and make the new version just for non-photographers, so they would have…moreI decided to rewrite my book, "Tales of a Super Hero Pro Wedding Photographer" and make the new version just for non-photographers, so they would have a easy fun read version they could read, after getting a couple of reviews from non-photographer readers who said parts of my first book were a little difficult for them to understand. Those parts had been written for other professional photographers, so that they could become better wedding photographers.

Listening to my reviewers, I rewrote the special non-photographer's easy read fun version, without the hard to understand parts aimed at other pros wanting to improve their craft, titled it "Wedding Photographer a 45 year career" and put a new cover on it, so that the two versions wouldn't be confused for each other.

I also added copy to each product description to try to guide the reader to the version that was suited to them, as I did not want anyone to buy the wrong version and be disappointed with it.

I chose the cover photo used on "Tales of a Super Hero Pro Wedding Photographer", because I felt it gave a hint at the humor that was also included in the book.

I was actually looking for a different photo I wanted to use on "Wedding Photographer a 45 year career", when I came across the one I used on that book and knew immediately that I had found my new cover photo upon seeing it again. Then the chase was on to locate the parents of the kids in the photo and secure their permission to use it on the cover. Thanks to my client database and Facebook, that was accomplished in just a couple of days.
