Dear Diary…
I knew it was inevitable, but there is only so much power one can possess. I was a fool to give it to him, to give him the full source and access to all my pain. My suffering. And now what has he done to me? He has turned my beauty and grace into something dark. Something I can’t control. But as I look upon his face each day, I don’t think I will be able to hold it back much longer. On closer inspection… I don’t think I want to…..

I can almost feel him. The very essence of his being lives within me. But does he exist? Are all of my hopes and dreams built around a fantasy created in the depths of my own fears? Nothing that I do is ever good enough. Trying to be perfect all the time…I thought that it was what I needed. What I craved. But I realize now that it has never satisfied this thing that lives within me. I try and fight it, but what’s the point? Funny the things you treasure when you know you’re about to die.“I never trusted you.” Sarah’s voice cut through the quiet. “I always knew you would betray us.” Roselyn turned to face her. I can’t think. I can’t feel. It’s like a dark and cold prison that slowly closes in on me. It doesn’t matter if I close my eyes or open them; there is only this black void. When they come for me, I can’t even scream. I can’t call for help or try to fight back. It’s pointless. Because I know my silence is the only reason I’m still alive.
