"Writer's block" is simply not wanting to work, which is easy to do if you set your own schedule and have distractions (as many writers do), or it is a fear of some kind.

As for keeping the flow of work going, I've found that I cannot take more than two days off and I do my best to stop mid-sentence. If I don't follow those two rules I've set for myself, I find it harder to get back into the project without re-reading and making some notes, both which eat up time that I wouldn't be spending if I had followed my guidelines. Sometimes life gets in the way, though, and that's what I have to do to get back to work. (less)
