It sounds obvious, but so many writers I know are stuck in the unable-to-finsih stage. Do whatever you have to. Just press on and press on and press on and finish. Somehow, some way. If it's not so good, fix it later. Just get done. And be very aware of those powerful excuses why not. You may have to fight them at every turn.(less)

In that story, a man gets drawn into a gay erotic video. After I wrote it, I wondered, what if the object of his affection came the other way, out into this world? And couldn't go back.
