Gabriela Ruivo Trindade nasceu em Lisboa em 1970. Formou-se em Psicologia e trabalhou como psicóloga e formadora profissional até 1999. Vive, desde 2004, em Londres, onde se dedica ao artesanato e à escrita, paixão que a acompanha desde criança. Já na primária os seus textos eram apreciados tanto por professores como colegas de turma. É autora dos blogues Far Far Away (papuinlondon.blogspot.com) e Gaby Crafts (gabycrafts.blogspot.com). Em 2011, o seu texto Uma Mulher de Palavra foi o primeiro vencedor do Desafio de Escrita – Micronarrativas, promovido pela ecO – Associação Cultural de Leiria e posteriormente publicado no jornal Região de Leiria.
