You could try the software program called 'Write or Die' but in my experience, just write anything. That might mean leaving your main project whilst you do something else. I usually have at least two projects on the go so that I can switch if I get stuck on one.
The other advice is don't worry about getting it right first time, as long as you know you are in for many, many re-writes, it doesn't really matter too much what the first draft looks like as long as the story is good.(less)

We live in a world that is being, from the perspective of nature, ruined. Maybe we're fascinated by it because we see it happening before our eyes and do nothing about it- it's much easier to bemoan the idiocy of it happening in a fictional world I guess?(less)

Adarna 1 - Empire under siege

It’s been a while since I posted a blog and I have to apologise for that :-) I’m back on the writing trail though and so far things are going OK. The first draft of the next instalment of the ‘Adarna Chronicles’ is complete! It will take me a very long time to whip the draft into shape, but hopefully it will be worth the wait. I guess you could say the real work is just beginning.

In the mean...

“Conlan could not wrench his gaze away as the legionaries in the distance lost cohesion and closed in on each other, their formation compromised no space to fight, many on the front line turned to take flight.”
Jason K. Lewis, Empire under siege

“Sound vigilance!” Conlan shouted. He could only hope that this would be enough to attract the attention of the troops that were now isolated, fighting for their lives beyond his new front, and show them their path to salvation. The westerly sun was bright and low - the advantage would belong to the enemy, with its light at their backs. Through a sea of running blue and silver legionaries a gap in the crumbling wall of steel had opened wide.”
