Noël Cades writes sizzling hot forbidden romance and Regency romance.

Major themes include:

* Regency Romance
Noël's first historic romance, "The Substitute Bride" (2017) features an arranged marriage with a twist: identity swap. Noël's second historic romance, also with an authentic Regency setting, is "Teaching His Ward" (2019).

* Student Teacher Romance
Noël's first novel, "Forbidden Lessons" (2014) and its sequel "Forbidden Study" (2016), were inspired by old schoolfriends and the teacher crushes and secret boyfriends they had at boarding school. In "French Kissing" (2015) a student falls in love with her teacher as they take part in a musical theatre production. In "His Model Student" (2016), a devastatingly sexy artist seduces his student

Hopefully in the next few weeks, with a launch price of 99c.

It will be released on Wattpad but gradually, so it will probably be a few months before it's complete there.

So people will have the choice of being patient or paying just 99c to get it immediately!

Rom-Coms: Romantic comedy

woman covering face with assorted ballonsCan romance be funny? Absolutely. But if you’re writing a “Rom-Com” you need to ensure that you’re writing a Romance with comedic elements, not a Comedy with a romance.

To fit in the Romance genre, a book still needs plenty of angst/melodrama and tension, regardless of its comedic content. Consider films like Four Weddings and a Funeral or When Harry Met Sally– they’re “romcoms” but there

“It seems I find you once again unaccompanied," a voice said at her side. Jemima turned, already knowing who it was. She felt the same rush of delight and nerves as she looked up at his handsome and commanding features.

"I am just returning to my party, sir." As she said it, Jemima wondered if perhaps he were an actual peer and whether she should have said "my lord".

His eyes never left hers. "May I have this dance?”

Aayesha Khatri Thanks for the friendvite! Impressive to see you're an author! :D

I've always aspired to be one (I've written a few things on the side as well), but med school takes up ALL my time - I haven't read a book in forever *wails*

Christina Azalea Hello and thank you for the request. And yes i am very interested in receiving a free copy from you :-)

Noël Cades Noor wrote: "Hi Noël! Thanks for accepting my friend request! I really love fobidden romance books too, especially teacher student. See ya around GR :)"

Thanks! And please do recommend me any good ones you've read, I love reading them as well as writing them!

Noël Cades Oh yes I've read "Taming the Beast" - it is extremely dark. A great read, but certainly not a cosy romance/HEA. Very fascinating and realistic though.

message 10: by Cam *tactile seeker* (last edited Apr 28, 2015 06:05AM)

Cam *tactile seeker* Actually, I haven't read any other book I've won yet, except for "The Yearning", but I've heard that Taming the Beast is pretty dark and beautifully-written

message 9: by Noël

Noël Cades I've also read Unteachable which was a pretty fascinating read. Were there any other good student-teacher romances you would recommend from the bundle you got?

message 8: by Cam *tactile seeker* (last edited Apr 28, 2015 12:21AM)

Cam *tactile seeker* Oh, yes! Thank you, I loved the writing in that book. It was pure beauty. Too bad I basically disliked everything the MC did. The Yearning actually came to me with a bunch of other books I'd won in a contest.
Author Leah Raeder did it and they all were books about teacher-student relationship, because she loved it. She wrote a book, Unteachable by Leah Raeder about that, too.

message 7: by Noël

Noël Cades Your review of The Yearning, it was a really in depth, interesting review.

Cam *tactile seeker* Hi Noël, thank you for the friend request! Which book was it, exactly?

.Lili. Thank you for the friendvite, Noel :)

MELISSA *Mel Reader* Thanks for the friend vite Noel! :))
