S. E. Joplin has been a fan of paranormal and fantasy for most of her life. She finds joy in reading about such things. She has even written fan fictions about her many favorite series. After a while, that didn't feel like enough to her. That was when she decided to write a novel. She tends to incorporate romance as a large factor in her writing, but she does not allow this to overpower all other elements. Her stories will keep you wishing for more, and you will love them for a long after you finish reading them. She also has an account on Wattpad. If you want to follow her on there the link is: https://www.wattpad.com/user/SEJoplin

I had to take a bit of a break from working on my novel. I had my new baby on Monday July, 9, 2018. Her name is Catherine and I have been taking time off to spend time with her and my older daughter (who is three and a half years old). I will work on my novel slowly from now until either she is sleeping through the night or I get it finished, whichever comes first.

The author wrote the lore well, but it did seem that sometimes he forgot whose point of view he was writing in. Other than that, I loved every bit of this book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Supernatural.

“Remember the quiet wonders. The world has more need of them than it has for warriors.”
Charles de Lint, Moonheart

Charles de Lint
“We're all made of stories. When they finally put us underground, the stories are what will go on. Not forever, perhaps, but for a time. It's a kind of immortality, I suppose, bounded by limits, it's true, but then so's everything.”
Charles de Lint

Charles de Lint
“I do believe in an everyday sort of magic -- the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone.”

Charles de Lint
“Don't forget - no one else sees the world the way you do, so no one else can tell the stories that you have to tell.”
Charles de Lint, The Blue Girl

Charles de Lint
“That's the thing about magic; you've got to know it's still here, all around us, or it just stays invisible for you.”
