Gabrielle de la Fair started her writing endeavors in creative writings and poetry, went through the economic research, non-fiction, critiques, but always implements her vision for aesthetic and visual style to all aspects of the written and spoken word.

Her interests overlap literature, history, music, art, design, politics, finance, research, philosophy, psychology, strategic intelligence.

To balance the abstract nature of her interests she enjoys different kinds of handcrafted works - especially hand knitting and interlacing, but also layout, design and experimenting with the patterns and colors.

Her practical experiences in creative expressions - writings, design, matrix design patterns, clothing design, cooking, and the field experiences

I bought the paperback in the bookshop and was so excited to read - I finished in two days! However, 574 pages book is very hard to hold in the hand. I prefer less wordy novels. Overall, it was my first reading of J.K. Rowling works and I need to ju ...more

“I rose from the dust of Valley of Kings; can anyone else say that?”
Gabrielle de la Fair, Initiation in the Valley of Kings

“After playing Chopin, I feel as if I had been weeping over sins that I had never committed, and mourning over tragedies that were not my own. Music always seems to me to produce that effect. It creates for one a past of which one has been ignorant, and fills one with a sense of sorrows that have been hidden from one’s tears.”
Oscar Wilde

“The final mystery is oneself. When one has weighed the sun in the balance, and measured the steps of the moon, and mapped out the seven heavens star by star, there still remains oneself. Who can calculate the orbit of his own soul?”
Oscar Wilde, De Profundis

“What of Art?
-It is a malady.
--Love?
-An Illusion.
--Religion?
-The fashionable substitute for Belief.
--You are a sceptic.
-Never! Scepticism is the beginning of Faith.
--What are you?
-To define is to limit.”
Oscar Wilde , The Picture of Dorian Gray

“An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all.”
Oscar Wilde

“There is no sin except stupidity.”
Oscar Wilde, The Critic as Artist
