Carole Parkes is a wife of 51 years, a mother of three sons, and a grandmother. She first ventured into writing in 1985 when her children were still at home. She wrote a series of children's books, some short stories, and a novel 'Tissue of Lies'.

Together, they make some great laughable situations.(less)

Do you know what your parents’ favourite wartime song was? If you do, why not add the title in a comment and maybe the link to a recording on You Tube.

My mum and dad loved the song ‘Yours’ by Vera Lynn.
