But I learned that what seems to work best for me is to put myself in a place where I can concentrate and not get too distracted. I try to spend several hours at Starbucks or Panera at a time with my laptop, notebook, and headphones. I tell myself that I won't leave until I feel like I have made some progress. Sometimes the best way to push past writer's block is to deal with it head on. Sometimes starting to write in the middle of a chapter or story helps, too. Then you can go back later and add the beginning that you skipped over. Finally, I would suggest talking to friends or family who encourage you in your writing. Oftentimes when you may have trouble coming up with an idea, they may have the exact answer you're looking for. There are hundreds of ways to deal with writer's block, it may just take a bit of time to find the way that works best for you.(less)

A.N. Hi Sam! I love reading all of your book reviews, they are awesome :)
If you're looking for a great book series to read, try the Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale. The first book is called The Goose Girl. I'm re-reading the books a second time, and am really enjoying them :)
