Every week-day morning I get up, spend some time exercising, then sit down to write. My goal is to write at least two pages every day. I don't worry about the topic. Sometimes I work on one of my projects. Sometimes it's the equivalent of a journal entry.

I find if I miss more than two days of writing, getting started again is very difficult. I also find writing helps me focus. Not writing in the morning can mean the difference between being organized and relaxed or frantic and reactive. Finally, I enjoy the process of putting thoughts and ideas into words. I love it when I read something I've written and the words "just click". It is a unique little thrill. So, I work very hard not to miss a day. (less)
