Growing up in Southern California, Diane Benefiel has been an avid reader all of her life. She has enjoyed a wide range of genres, from westerns to fantasy to mysteries, but romance has always been a favorite element. My Happy Place

back deck where you drink your morning tea and watch the sun rise while birds
fill the air with song. Or the beach where you can dig your toes into the hot
sand and listen to the crashing surf. Mine is the Eastern Sierras of California

It took Laney a while to get through the pain of him leaving and Walker had a hard time even after being cleared. This book kept my interest."
