Hi Linda,

I did not just add "A Higher Call" to my list, I added it when I finished reading it in September, 2013. That means that for over two years, my five-star rating for that outstanding book has been on my list. I invite you to read my review in order to learn how I liked this book. I'll consider your other recommendation if my "To Read" list needs additions in the future. Thanks.(less)

Gabriel's Creek (Literature & Fiction)
3 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:36PM
Description: Ralphie the Border Collie seemed to the operators of Gabriel’s Creek Golf Course to have come out of nowhere to become their course mascot. Perhaps destiny brought him there to take terminally ill golfer Chris Collins through his life’s last round of golf. The magic of this uncharted arena includes an element of time travel allowing Ralphie to help Chris find peace within himself when he plays along with friends and foes his past, learning lessons of life that are perhaps too late. On his final 18th green, Collins finds that Gabriel’s Creek Golf Course exists in neither the earthly world nor the next, but perhaps somewhere in between.
