Just excellent. The best opening page of a non-fiction book ever. The author manages to be enlightening and humorous. The middle section slows down a little, but stick with it, as the last section is excellent.

A must-read after Harari's "Sapiens". Once you've read "Deus", read "End of Absence". Dues is about impending technology and how it will affect sapiens and End of Absence is helps navigate the delicate balance between technology and the "old ways".
