Carolyn O’Neal is an author and an environmentalist. Her first novel, KINGSLEY, is a speculative fiction that takes the devastation happening to the honeybees and moves it up the food chain to humans. Her award winning short story SILENT GRACE (judged by bestselling author John Grisham) is set in the Tar Sands of Alberta, Canada. Carolyn is a founding member of BACCA Literary and was a presenter at the 2013, 2015 and 2016 Virginia Festival of the Book, at the 2015 Virginia Writers Club Symposium, and at the 2016 Dahlonega Literary Festival. She is active in the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling Program.
