Thank you so much!

The question of how much to show of the world was definitely something we talked about in the editing and revising process. There's very much a history and timeline of the world, and it will absolutely be revealed as we go. (Honestly, I've had too much fun creating that history to not share it!)

Part of the challenge has been that Carter is far more interested finding justice for victims than dealing with global issues, so it's taken some thought to figure out how to show more of the world while staying true to the characters. But I'm very proud of how it's coming together, and I hope you enjoy watching it unfold as well.

And really-- I can't say thank you enough for letting me know you enjoyed the book. It totally makes my day!!(less)

Titan's Day is Live!

I’m so happy that the second book in the Carter Archives is out in the world today!

Writing Titan’s Day was a massive learning experience for me, and I came out of it a better writer and storyteller, with new additions to my author’s toolkit. But that’s all on the writer’s side. For readers, this pulls back the curtain on more of the world, and shows the ways that Carter’s relationships are changin

You Beneath Your Skin by Damyanti Biswas
"Damyanti Biswas's debut novel is a psychological crime-thriller that takes the reader on a careening journey through the streets and enclaves of New Delhi. The frigid temperatures and heavy smog lend an eeriness to all that unfolds.

You Beneath Your Skin by Damyanti Biswas
"A crime thriller that takes its time to build up the suspense and action, but once it does, you are fully gripped, eager to turn the page. It becomes unputdownable soon and you're completely engrossed in the plot. There have been few occasions when I" Read more of this review »

You Beneath Your Skin by Damyanti Biswas
"Set in a cold, smoggy New Delhi that evokes Jack the Ripper's London, this is a thrilling and often surprising read that asks how little we know even the people closest to us. Anjali is a psychiatrist and single mother to teenaged Nikhil, who is on t" Read more of this review »
