Meda White is an award-winning author who was born with Georgia clay in her veins... and between her toes. Big families, dirt roads, and fried catfish make life worth living. She mostly enjoys the Southern lifestyle with her husband and furbabies. The exception is the hundred degree summer days with a hundred percent humidity. No amount of Aqua Net can fix that hair then.

When not writing, you might find her singing harmony, attempting to play guitar, shooting zombie targets, quoting movie lines, traveling, teaching yoga, or explaining the meaning of her unusual first name.

I don't have anymore stories which star Liz and Ian, but there are four more Southland Romances in the works. The last one (Book 5) is a prequel and features the love story of Dan and Dixie Baker (Liz and Danny's parents). Books 2,3 & 4 feature other Baker children but are set during the time gap in Book 1. So in Book 2 (Danny's story), Liz is a strong secondary character. In Books 3 & 4, we don't see her quite as much but she's a tertiary character. She even makes cameo appearances in an off-shoot series called Quiet Cove Romances. Quiet Cove is the fictional Georgia coastal town where Liz lives at the end of Play With My Heart.(less)

(For non-Southerners who might need a translation, it's the same as mowing the lawn.) I put on my music and push mow while sweat pours down my face, thinking all the while. My yard looks awesome. :) If for some reason that doesn't work, taking a drive or a little weekend trip helps. My brain gets creative on road trips. (less)
