Debra Tidball is an author, social worker, blogger and children's book reviewer. Her first picture book, 'When I See Grandma' was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year and won the children’s book category of the CALEB award in 2014. Her second, 'The Scared Book,' is a CBCA Notable and heaps of interactive fun with sneaky opportunities for kids to learn about conquering their fears. Debra also has flash fiction and short stories published in anthologies and The School Magazine. An energetic speaker, Debra loves engaging an audience with stories and games to spark imagination.

Wife of one, mother of two and caretaker to a menagerie of furry (and sometimes feathery) friends, she lives in suburban Sydney.

Picture Wow! Has it been that long since I last wrote? It’s been a wild ride since the publication of Anchored!! I thoroughly enjoyed this entertaining, funny and wise novel for teen readers. I read it on a train ride with my adult daughter and kept snort-laughing and quoting passages to her. So excellent!
