“I went to him and asked him if he knew how much he had hurt me. He laughed and said he didn’t know what I was talking about, so I started going down a list of reasons that I was angry with him. He just looked at me with smugness and told me that it was the hand I was dealt, if I didn’t like it; I would just have to get over it.
