Hi Terry,

Thanks for your question. I lived in Prague for seven years, and while there are some similarities between myself and my main character, Joseph, the book is fiction.

I have heard from readers who lived in Prague in the late nineties that the book accurately reflects the feeling of that era. But to achieve that effect, I had to distance myself from my actual experience, and let the characters take over.

Such a great read. I really enjoyed getting to know Jo Lover and J.D. Gunn. Nashville, country music, top stars and kids trying to breakthrough. The tension between the artists and the music industry is fascinating. This book delivers on its promise.
