Kathleen Powers-Vermaelen holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing and Literature from Stony Brook Southampton and an M.A./L.S. in English Education from Stony Brook University. Her short stories and poetry have been published in Proteus, MotherVerse, Main Channel Voices, The Southampton Review, The East Hampton Star, and in the flash fiction anthology The Best of Every Day Fiction Two.
