Leilanie Stewart is a writer and poet from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her former career as an Archaeologist has influenced her writing and she has incorporated elements of it into her work ever since: her debut novel, Gods of Avalon Road (2019), was inspired by a love of Celtic mythology and a fascination by life in Iron Age Britain. Other works with archaeological themes include her poetry collection, A Model Archaeologist (2015), which reflected on her undergraduate archaeology days and her novella, Til Death do us Boneapart, published in the Summer 2017 issue of Dark Gothic Resurrected Magazine, which dealt with the themes of Egyptian archaeology and mythology.

"The Gods of Avalon road is not one of my usual reads, but the idea of the story was intriguing to me.
