Patricia Flaherty Pagan is a talkative introvert who likes reading and writing about tenacious women. She is the author of "Trail Ways Pilgrims: Stories" (The Crossroads Collection #1) and "Enduring Spirit: Stories" (The Crossroads Collection #2). She is the editor of "Up, Do: Flash Fiction by Women Writers," "Approaching Footsteps"," In The Questions," and "Eve’s Requiem," as well as a writer of award-winning literary and crime short stories. Pagan teaches creative writing at Writespace and through author’s associations across Texas. In 2013, after receiving her MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, she founded Spider Road Press. I won an award for my short story about corrupt baby brokers, "Bargaining," and then savvy mystery author Kay Kendall suggested that I put together a collection including that story and some of my other short fiction. I took her suggestion, ran with it, and "Trail Ways Pilgrims: Stories" was born. I love it when authors inspire and support each other! (less)
