I won an award for my short story about corrupt baby brokers, "Bargaining," and then savvy mystery author Kay Kendall suggested that I put together a collection including that story and some of my other short fiction. I took her suggestion, ran with it, and "Trail Ways Pilgrims: Stories" was born. I love it when authors inspire and support each other! (less)

"Wow, this book. I was not expecting to be drawn in and left wet-eyed contemplating life, family, all the choices that have brought us here and the things we pass down and expect our own kids to carry.

“If you lack confidence in setting one word after another and sense that you are stuck in a place from which you will never be set free, if you feel sure that you will never make it and were not cut out to do this, if your prose seems stillborn and you completely lack confidence, you must be a writer.”
