Jennifer Salmassian, born in California in 1976, grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles. She worked in various fields of education as she completed her BA and teaching credential in History and a MA in Education. Combining her love of education with art and poetry that was inspired from having her own children, Jennifer took a chance with an independent project and started Sally the Cat Publishing. Since 2006, SCP has published over 15 titles for various authors, illustrators and organizations. Today, she tours schools, reaching out to children about the importance of reading and shares her unique stories.

This is a very expressive book of poetry and art. Most of the art accompanies the poems but not religiously. Very good print quality. Book is clever in that it adds hand written pages or poems and other writing as well as polished poems.
