Silke,
Thanks for reaching out. I look forward to your review of Soul Pursuit. I'll have to give Among the Ruins a look. Not sure I am the best advice on marketing. I've tried different approaches with some success, but so far, nothing stellar. I was gaining some traction locally and then Co-vid shut that down. Been very slow going since then. Definitely lean on your friends and social media. And then I encourage you to work Goodreads. Over the last few months, I've slowly been building a friends list, posting updates and engaging with people. Genuine relationship building is the tried and true method of marketing. But it is slow going and takes patience. But slowly, I am gaining visibility. Be yourself. Be authentic. And give God the glory. That is my best advice. Feel free to send me a friend request. I look forward to keeping up with you on Goodreads.

I'm trying to connect and engage with as many people as possible. I enjoy reading and sharing about what I'm reading. Most of what I read is Christian oriented although I still like a good mystery. Robert B. Parker who wrote the Spencer Detective novels is my favorite, non-Christian writer. I tried to imitate his style in my Christian detective novel, Soul Pursuit. As a writer, I want to sincerely engage with people and maybe speak encouragingly into their lives in small ways that perhaps, makes them curious to read and share my books.(less)
